As March ushers in the promise of new beginnings, I am thrilled to write this LoveNote to you, my beloved readers, both old and new, with heartfelt gratitude. Thank you for joining my community and being a part of my journey as an author.
First and foremost, the love you all showed my short story, A Date for Valentine, still tingles my stomach and brings me so much happiness. Your reviews, thoughts, and enthusiasm really made my February. When I wrote that story I did not expect it to receive so much positive reviews.
Let’s just say that you all have succeeded in bullying me to expand the story into a full-length novel because I absolutely had no intentions to. But I am not complaining, in fact, I am loving it!
I have just finished the opening chapter which picks up six months after Eriife and Jay’s encounter. I have also introduced some very interesting characters and we also get to see Jay’s POV.
Yes, to dual POVs!
I have outlined the first 10 chapters of the proposed 30-chapter novel (could be more, depending on what my characters want) but I can tell you just from the chapters I have outlined, and the chapter I have written, that the romance is going to romance and the drama enh, you all are not prepared for it.
I honestly can't wait to share more of it with you soon. And in the spirit of sharing, here’s a glimpse from what I have written so far — a quote from the last line of the opening chapter:
“I still think I did the right thing even though my heart beats faster every time I am remotely reminded of him. But they say the best way to forget about one man is to get under another and I have my eyes set on the total hunk of a man, Tobi Adewale.”
Want to know who Tobi Adewale is?
You will meet him in the novel, of which I haven’t decided on a title yet. But I’ll decide on something soon and reveal it along with the cover.
Additionally, update on my upcoming novel, A Crossfire of Hearts. The manuscript has been passed on to my editor, release date and pre-order for Amazon and kindle lovers details will be out soon. So keep an eye on your inbox for more information!
As always, your support means the world to me, and I am endlessly grateful for the opportunity to share my stories with such a wonderful community of readers. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me.
Wishing you a March filled with love, laughter, and endless inspiration.
I'm glad you're expanding that story. Kudos!
Yes! Thank you, for giving in💥 the characters truly have something special!🥳
Dual POV, my fav!
Wishing you all the best this month 💕
